Today Rolfslake welcomed Langley Hall A.C from Birmingham for their club match which was fished by 21 eager anglers, all hoping that Rolfslake was going to return to bagging mode. John Bennett told me it was very strange to have a lake full of anglers but an empty car park as the anglers had arrived in a big coach { some anglers do like to arrive in style}.
The weather today was sunny but with a strong breeze blowing in to the big lake , the same weather that has kept the weights low over recent weeks but the anglers were still hopeful to catch that magical ton that Rolfslake is famous for.
